The Leica SL camera is among the latest mirror-less full frame cameras released to the market. Launched in early 2017, the camera has been lauded for its many features as well as its durability in design and detailed attention in its production. It has been designed with features that meet the needs of both the amateur photographer and the professional photographer. Among the features that users of the new camera will be able to enjoy is the new Maestro II Image processor, the Native ISO sensitivity range of between 50 and 50000, continuous burst shooting of approximately 11 frames per second and the capacity for housing two SD cards. The Leica SL camera is also outfitted with an electronic viewfinder that has 0.8X magnification and resolution of approximately 4.4k dots. Uses will also be able to enjoy a twenty-four (24) megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and a 529 spot point auto focus system. The new device can also boast the claim of being Leica’s first non-rangefinder 35 millimetre style camera.
